  1. 1. Interest Volunteer submits role interest, skills, availability, and conflict disclosures if relevant.
  2. 2. Screening Role owner reviews fit, youth-safety needs, confidentiality, and supervision requirements.
  3. 3. Training Volunteer receives mission, conduct, privacy, safety, AI-use, and program-specific orientation.
  4. 4. Assignment Volunteer starts with a bounded task, named supervisor, and expected deliverable.
  5. 5. Review YPN checks quality, fit, risk, and whether the role expands, pauses, or ends.
